The trial match to be played at Port City on the 19th of January the teams is as follows team 1 Garry Ruprecht, Mark Hammond, Dean Gemmell and Barrie Isaac. Rob Edwards, Mick Ashford, Rocky Davis and Mick Stuttard. Terry Duff, John Gemmell, Gary Hamilton and Charles Doyle. Team 2 Howard Burrows, Ron Hale, Chicka Thompson and Terry Miles. Ian Poole, Garry Cheers, Budgie Brecard and Peter Griffith. Brian Charters, Dave Napper, Trevor Robb and Phil Collins. Team 3 Ian Hilton, Ian Hodgkinson, Ian McLaren and Ray Allan. John Brown, Frank Raczka, Darren Darcy and Pat O’Connor. Stewart Wellard, Bob Sims, Stewart Rogan and Wayne Thrussell. Team 4 Jeff Nichols, Rod Sutton, Warren Bates and Reggie Robb. Adrian Hilton, Daryle Barr, Dick Davies, Warren Barnes. Leslie Faulstone, Tony Austin, Bindi Notara and Terry Stringer. 1pm start roll up from 12 pm.

Wednesday social and escaping out the door with the cash was Steve Hall, Ian Hodgkinson and Terry Stringer, the runner up dosh went to Steve McGregor, Darren Darcy and the biscuit eater Mick Ashford. Voucher winners Mick Ashford, Mark Hammond, Howard Burrows and Steve McGregor.

There is a sheet on the board for a trial against Comboyne on Saturday the 12th starting at 12 pm those that are interested put your name on the sheet and a team will be selected to play the mountain boys.

Saturday cashpot triples and scooping up the cash and scarping out the door was Chicka Thompson, Frosty and Mick the bicky eater Ashford, 2nd Jimmy Race, Adrian Hilton and Ian Paris Hilton and 3rd Bob the hand breaker Kennett, Daryle Barr and Barrie Isaac. Vouches went to Frosty, Bill Bailey, Dean Gemmell and George Ganic.

Kew Country Club Memorial Bowls Day will be held on Saturday the 16th of February with $1,200 in prize money featuring the Ken Kinman Shield and the Hancox/Jack shootout $2 entry into the shootout with the winner to take the $200 first prize. Entry fee for the day is $60 per team which includes lunch. Two games of 3 bowl triples 15 ends starting at 9am. Prize money 1st $600, 2nd $300, 3rd $150, 4th $90 there will also a lucky draw for $60. Entry’s close Saturday the 9th of February.

Wednesday social 9am start names in by 6pm Tuesday and Friday jackpot triples names in by 11.30 12.30 start mufti dress all welcome.
