Zone 14 Men's Singles

Play continued today in the Zone 14, Southern Section, Singles with finals in the open, senior and presidents reserve categories. 

In the Open Singles Scott Franklin took out the title. Thanks to Terry Merchant, Port Panthers, for the scoring.

2016 NSW State Senior Side

The NSW State Senior Side will play a round-robin series against ADF, NTC and Zone 10 at Cabramatta on 27-28 August.

A couple of 'local' players included are Ken Paulsen (Port City) and Rex Johnston (Tuncurry Beach).

Port City Prestige Pairs Final Day

Day 3 of the $6,400 Port City Men's Prestige Pairs was completed today, Friday, with an impressive list of winners.

Bruce Anderson and Peter Stockham from Westport took out the top prize with 7 wins and a margin of 116 shots. With the top 4 teams on 7 wins it came down to the margin. View the list of winners here.

Port City Prestige Pairs - Day 2

Day 2 of the $6,400 Port City Men's Prestige Pairs was completed today, Thursday, with 3 games played again under chilly conditions. The tournament finishes tomorrow with an additional 2 rounds play.

With 2 teams on 6 wins and 6 on 5 wins it is still open to decide the winners.

Grade 1 Pennant - Westport v Tuncurry

The post sectional Grade 1 playoff between Westport and Tuncurry is scheduled to be played tomorrow, Sunday 10th July at 10 am, at Taree Leagues.

Winner of this match will progress to the State Pennant Finals late in July.

Update Monday 11th July: No results are shown as yet on the above link but I would assume Tuncurry won the playoff - they are now shown on the draw for the final for Northern #3 in section 1.

Park Beach Open Singles

The prestigious Park Beach Open Singles are now down to the quarter finals with today's sectional winners progressing.

Well done to local players Peter Stockham (Westport) for his sectional win today and to Greg Brims (North Haven) for matching Shane Garvey with 2 wins but just falling short on the margin.
