The final of the Port City Women's BC consistency singles was played this morning under sunny skies and high winds. Both players met the challenge of the elements and produced some good bowls.

Players enjoying the ability to play into the evening
Last night, Wednesday the 11th November, Port City BC had the official opening for the new lights on their greens.
Chairman of the Board, Bob Langham, in a brief address declared "Let There Be Light". Bob indicated the new lights now provided an opportunity to expand the twilight bowls program and importantly allowed the club to host National and State Association events where lighting was a prerequisite to holding many events.
